Project Manager - UAT
Typical Accountabilities:
• Ensures concepts of Engineering and Maintenance improvement are applied
• Manages or provides technical support to multiple projects on a day-to-day basis ensuring adequate supervision, instruction and training is provided
• Acts as a technical owner of a specific area within the Engineering Function with a deep understanding of the engineering processes
• Either leads the planning, managing, and monitoring of major manufacturing and maintenance plan projects including major production outages from concepts to implementation, or provides expert technical support to project managers
• Keeps own knowledge of best practices and new developments up to date
• Leads trouble shooting activities to resolve existing problems, planned and unplanned activities, make complicated judgements and anticipate future Engineering developments
• Manages customer needs and expectations across a broad range of support services in order to provide a high quality, compliant, timely and cost-effective service
• Employs prepared information to discuss, plan and help carry out improvement plans, priority setting, investigation reports, quality or performance improvement recommendations
• Develops contacts across a range of departments and external groups acting as a plant representative
• Supports on-going management of change and coaches continuous improvement and development to own team
• Ensures adequate knowledge of procurement systems and engineering understanding
• Ensures adequate supervision, instruction and training is provided
• Ensures compliance of own work and work of others with Safety, Health and Environment standards
• Ensures optimal performance across team through supporting individual development plans for own team and applying new tools

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Educated to degree level in Engineering or related field; Experience in Good Manufacturing Practice or regulated production practices, specifically responsible for equipment performance; Professional qualifications, for example Chartered Engineer, or will be in the process of working towards professional qualification; Proven experience leading and managing a team of technical personnel
• Desirable: Knowledge or previous experience in managing maintenance programs; Experience working in a engineering support role
